Repeated Measures Design
An experimental design can be characterized
by the way that subjects are assigned to treatment groups:
- Repeated measures design. Experimental units are assigned to more than one treatment group.
This is also known as a within-subjects design.
- Independent groups design. Each experimental unit is assigned to one, and only one, treatment group.
This is also known as a between-subjects design.
