Two-stage Sampling
Two-stage sampling refers to a common
cluster sampling method. It can be contrasted with one-stage sampling, as
described below.

One-stage sampling. All of the elements within selected
clusters
are included in the sample.

Two-stage sampling. A subset of elements within each selected
cluster is randomly selected for inclusion in the sample.
