Intersection

The intersection of two sets is the set of elements that belong to both sets. Symbolically, the intersection of X and Y is denoted by X ∩ Y.

As an example, suppose set A = {1, 2, 3} and set B = {1, 3, 5}. Then, the intersection of sets A and B would be {1, 3}.
